The partnership is insured against pecuniary loss with a liability sum of 3 million euros per insured event. The sum insured for all damages caused within one insurance year is three times the statutory minimum insurance sum of 2.5 million euros (cf. § 51 a BRAO). The insurance is limited to mandates within the EU and Great Britain.
The notary has a pecuniary loss liability insurance policy with Ergo Versicherung AG, Berlin, with an insured sum of 5 million euros per insured event.

The Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG) stipulates that the fees and expenses of lawyers' remuneration are calculated according to the value of the subject matter of the lawyer's work. This is either the monetary claim demanded by the client or, e.g. in the case of a divorce or a dismissal, the value of the matter. In the event of a dispute, it is determined by a court. The billing of our law firm's work takes place either in accordance with the Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG) or, if billing is to be done in a different manner, in accordance with fee agreements (§ 34 RVG) and remuneration agreements (§ 3a et seq. RVG), which are agreed with the client before the client takes on the mandate.
The amount of the remuneration is determined in accordance with the schedule of fees, Annex 1 to the RVG. In the event of a dispute, the amount of the remuneration determined by the lawyer shall be verified by an expert opinion of the Bar Association.

If the Client is a merchant, the place of performance for all obligations arising from the order and the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes shall be the registered office of Dr. Krafczyk und Partner Rechtsanwälte mbB (Hanover). The legal relationship between Dr. Krafczyk und Partner Rechtsanwälte mbB and the Client shall be governed exclusively by German law.
